If you've been searching for a Las Vegas party bus, you've seen the tours advertising a lineup of big-name venues in one night. What they don't tell you is how they pull it off: they bring you to each club early, before anyone's in the room, and load you back on the bus right as it starts filling up. That's the only way the math works.
Our team has 17+ years of experience running nightlife experiences in Las Vegas. This guide covers what actually matters: real costs, how to pick the right nightclub, and the one question you should ask before handing your credit card to anyone.
The Multi-Club Crawl: What Vegas Actually Looks Like
Multi-stop club crawls advertise hitting three or four nightclubs in one night. In practice, the math doesn't work.
Las Vegas nightclubs aren't next to each other. They're inside massive casino resorts, spread across miles of Strip. Moving between them means loading a bus, navigating traffic, walking through casino floors, and getting back in line. That's real time, every stop.
There's also a timing issue. The tours are on a fixed schedule, which means your group arrives at each venue on the early side. You're there for 45 minutes and then moving again, usually right as the energy was building.
One club done right is a better night than three clubs done rushed. If you want to check somewhere else out later, after midnight is when that becomes much easier anyway, once the early crowds have cleared. We wrote a full breakdown of how these tours run in our Las Vegas club crawl guide.
What a Las Vegas Party Bus Actually Costs
Renting a party bus on your own in Las Vegas runs $199 to $499 per hour depending on the vehicle, with a two-hour minimum on most weekend bookings. That's just the vehicle. Figuring out the nightclub entry, coordinating logistics, and planning the night is all on you. If that's all you need, our hourly fleet is below, and gratuity is always included in the rate.
The Nightclub on Wheels is one flat price that includes the whole night: the starting lounge, the party bus, the Las Vegas Sign photo stop, and complimentary entry to the nightclub of your choice. Driver gratuity is included. Nothing to sort out at the end.
The Nightclub on Wheels bus. Your group only.
You Pick the Nightclub
One of the biggest features of the Nightclub on Wheels is that your group picks where you go. You tell us which club and we'll get you in. If you're not sure where to start, we make recommendations based on your music preference and the night of the week.
The best nights are the ones where our recommendation lines up with Ladies Open Bar availability at your venue. That's available at select events and it's one of the highlights people mention most. When you reach out to book, we'll show you what's available for your specific date.
Built around a speakeasy concept with multiple rooms and a small performance stage. Best on Friday and Saturday. Wednesday night draws a crowd of Las Vegas locals. Hidden karaoke room most people stumble across by accident.
Three distinct rooms: the main room plays EDM, the Heart Room is hip-hop, and the Terrace is a rooftop playing house music. One of the most recognizable venues on the Strip. Best to arrive before the peak hour rush.
World-class productions, globally recognized headliners. Primarily EDM. Hip-hop on nights with artists like Metro Boomin. On the biggest headliner nights, we'll advise you to pick a different venue or go VIP table so the night actually goes the way you planned.
We work with every major venue in Las Vegas. Tell us your music preference and the night you're going out. We'll match your group and show you Ladies Open Bar availability for your date.
On The Record is the go-to after-party venue when major artists are in Las Vegas. Usher, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and Mary J. Blige have all held their official after parties here. There's a small performance stage, and what happens on it isn't always announced ahead of time. Past appearances have included the Jabbawockeez and Bruno Mars on drums. Nothing is guaranteed, but on any given night at On The Record there's a real chance something happens that nobody planned for. It's the most one-of-a-kind venue on the Strip.
Why the Starting Lounge Matters More Than People Think
The night starts before you ever get on the bus. The Nightclub on Wheels begins at one of two lounges, and which one you should pick depends on where you're going at the end of the night.
Coyote Ugly at New York-New York
If your group is going out specifically to see one of the biggest DJs in the world, you need to start your night earlier. Clubs that host that level of headliner hit fire code capacity fast, and once they do, nobody gets in regardless of anything. Starting here gives your group the timeline you need to actually get through the door.
Ghostbar at Palms Casino
For any other night, this is where your evening starts. 55th floor, Strip views, opens at 9 PM. If you're not chasing a once-a-year headliner, you don't need to rush. Start here, enjoy one of the best rooftop bars in Las Vegas, and head out when the night is ready for you.
A word on major headliner nights. When a globally recognized artist plays a sold-out show at a high-capacity venue, more people show up than the club can hold. Fire code is fire code, and no ticket or reservation changes that. On nights like that, our recommendation is to pick a different venue, or to add a VIP table if that specific show is the reason you're going out. We can help with both.
LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau. Cover charges at the door may increase as the night gets busier.
Before You Book Anything
If you're deciding between options, one thing worth doing is looking at the actual schedule of whatever tour you're considering. See the venues on the list and think about whether you'd be happy spending 45 minutes at each one and then moving on.
Then ask yourself whether it matters to you if your group is on the bus with other people who bought individual tickets. A lot of groups don't think about this until they're already on the bus.
If you came to Las Vegas with a group of people, a private bus is almost always the better call. It's your group, your night, no compromises on where you go or how long you stay.
What to Wear
Las Vegas nightclubs enforce their dress codes at the door. One person turned away affects the whole group's night. There are no exceptions.
- Dress shoes or clean leather sneakers
- Slacks or dark denim
- Button-down or collared shirt
- A blazer always works
- Athletic shoes, sandals, or boots
- Shorts
- Plain t-shirts or tank tops
- Hats or athletic wear
- Cocktail dress or jumpsuit
- Going-out top with heels
- Bold color or classic black
- Athletic wear or joggers
- Flip-flops
- Oversized bags or backpacks
When in doubt, dress up. Las Vegas clubs turn away underdressed groups far more often than overdressed ones. Full guide: Las Vegas Nightclub Dress Code.
Book as Early as You Can
Most weekends are gone by Thursday. Friday, there's usually nothing left. If you're visiting for a major event weekend, New Year's, EDC, or a fight night, book as soon as your dates are confirmed.
Same-week reservations do happen based on availability, but the groups that get exactly the night they want are the ones who plan ahead.
