Before You Load Up the Car

A few things that make the trip from Phoenix or Scottsdale go smoother.

Tip 01

Watch the Sunday Return

The drive in on Friday or Saturday is usually clean. The stretch that backs up is Sunday afternoon, when everyone leaving Vegas hits US-93 around the same time. Leaving Sunday morning, or waiting until evening, beats most of it.

Tip 02

Arizona ID Works Fine

A valid Arizona driver's license or state ID is accepted everywhere on the trip. Just double check it isn't expired before you leave. 21+ strictly, no exceptions, at every stop.

Tip 03

Book Your Pickup Where You're Staying

Your private vehicle picks your group up directly from your Strip hotel. Tell us where you're staying when you book and we'll coordinate the timing.

Tip 04

Flying Instead? That Works Too

Phoenix Sky Harbor to Las Vegas is about a one-hour flight with several nonstops a day. A lot of our Scottsdale groups fly in Friday afternoon and are on the party bus that same night.

Questions From Phoenix & Scottsdale Groups

Answers from an operator who books this trip for Southwest groups every week.

How far is Las Vegas from Phoenix and Scottsdale?
About 300 miles. Most groups make it in roughly 4.5 to 5 hours via US-93, depending on where you're starting from and how many stops you make. North on the 101 or I-17 to Wickenburg, then US-93 through Kingman into Vegas.
Do we need to rent a car once we get to Las Vegas?
No. If you book the Nightclub on Wheels, your private vehicle picks your group up at your hotel, handles the Las Vegas Sign stop, and drops you at the nightclub. You don't need a car for the night, just for the drive in.
Is there a flight option instead of driving?
Yes. Phoenix Sky Harbor to Las Vegas is about a one-hour flight with several daily nonstops. A lot of our Scottsdale groups fly in Friday afternoon and are on the party bus by Saturday night.
Is the Nightclub on Wheels strictly 21 and over?
Yes, strictly 21+. ID is checked at every stop, no exceptions. A valid Arizona driver's license or ID works fine, just make sure it isn't expired.
What's included in the price?
One flat, all-inclusive price per person: a fully stocked private vehicle for your group only, complimentary champagne, a Las Vegas Sign photo stop, and complimentary entry to the nightclub of your choice with no cover charge. Gratuity is always included. Restrictions apply for special events, major holiday weekends, and sold-out nights. See the full breakdown →
When's the best time to leave Phoenix to avoid traffic?
Friday afternoon before rush hour, or Saturday morning, both work well. The stretch that backs up is the return trip on Sunday afternoon, when everyone leaving Vegas hits US-93 around the same time. Leaving Sunday morning or waiting until evening usually beats the worst of it.
