A few things that make the trip from Phoenix or Scottsdale go smoother.
The drive in on Friday or Saturday is usually clean. The stretch that backs up is Sunday afternoon, when everyone leaving Vegas hits US-93 around the same time. Leaving Sunday morning, or waiting until evening, beats most of it.
A valid Arizona driver's license or state ID is accepted everywhere on the trip. Just double check it isn't expired before you leave. 21+ strictly, no exceptions, at every stop.

Phoenix Sky Harbor to Las Vegas is about a one-hour flight with several nonstops a day. A lot of our Scottsdale groups fly in Friday afternoon and are on the party bus that same night.
