The newest, most upscale nightclub on the Strip. Layout, best nights, the Sunday secret, and the nights you cannot do on a party bus.
LIV opened inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the biggest hotel to open on the Strip in years. The room is built to match it.
Fontainebleau is the newest and one of the most upscale hotels on the Strip right now. LIV reflects that. The crowd skews upscale and well-dressed, the production is major-club quality, and the venue pulls both big-name headliners and strong local regulars. Sunday has become one of the best-kept secrets in Las Vegas nightlife and we will get into why below.
On a regular weekend night, cover runs around $50–75 for men and $30–50 for women. Expedited entry, which moves you past the general line, runs around $100 and is worth considering on busier nights when the standard line gets long.
On major holiday weekends and nights with big headliners like John Summit, those prices go up substantially. The venue prices based on demand, and the line situation can be extreme regardless of what you pay at the door.
LIV is all one room. It can get extremely crowded, especially toward the front near the DJ booth and dance floor. On a busy night with a major headliner, the floor fills fast and stays that way.
The mezzanine runs above the main floor and gives you a full sightline down to the DJ booth and dance floor. Table sections are available on both levels.

LIV books EDM and house primarily. The headliners on Friday and Saturday are world-class. Sunday is when locals go, and the deals are significantly better.
Sunday at LIV draws a lot of locals and industry people. It is not as packed as Friday or Saturday, which means you actually have space to move. The vibe is genuinely good, open bars run regularly, and you will have a real night out without fighting the weekend crowd. Not empty. Just the right size.
On a regular night, 11 PM gives you a reasonable shot. On a John Summit or major headliner night, people are lining up as early as 8:30–9 PM and the venue fills before midnight. If you show up at 11 PM on those big nights expecting to walk in, you are likely too late. Get there earlier.
Fontainebleau is not a casual property and LIV reflects that. You do not have to be in a suit, but you need to look put together and on trend. Sneakers are fine if they are clean and current. Dirty shoes, athletic wear, or anything that looks like you were not trying will get you turned away. Full breakdown: Las Vegas Nightclub Dress Code guide →
People underestimate the demand for John Summit at LIV until they are standing in a line that has not moved in 45 minutes. It is not just busy — it is a different category of busy. If your group is planning around a John Summit date, plan accordingly well in advance, not the week of.
John Summit at LIV Las Vegas is not a regular nightclub night. When he is booked, the venue fills faster than almost any event in the city. The line starts forming earlier than you would expect and capacity gets pushed hard. People who show up at midnight on a John Summit night are not getting in.
Being on the guest list does not always work on these nights either. The venue fills up before the guest list even clears, and you can find yourself on a list that technically exists but gets you nowhere because the room is already at capacity. A table reservation is the only reliable way to guarantee your group gets in.

Some LIV events sell out so fast that even arriving early carries real risk of not getting in. We do not book these nights on the party bus because we cannot stand behind the entry guarantee.
